Dorothy Greatorex Anderson

MIDDLETOWN, RI - Dorothy Anderson, 91, of 333 Green End Avenue, Middletown, RI, formerly of Cliff Avenue, Newport, died Sunday, December 11, 2005, at Grand Islander Health Care Center in Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late MSGT Richard P. Anderson. Born in Newport, RI, on March 1, 1914, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Robina Paterson Greatorex.Mrs. Anderson was a Military Pay Clerk for over 20 years at NETC Newport. She is survived by a daughter, Robin R. Anderson, of Newport, RI, two sons Eric J. Anderson, of Middletown, RI, and Donald B. Anderson of North Dartmouth, MA, and ten grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Richard ?Rex? Anderson, two brothers, John Greatorex and Donald Greatorex, and a sister, Eleanor Speckman.Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at 11:00AM in the Hambly Funeral Home, 30 Red Cross Avenue, Newport.
