Douglas Wayne Ogilvie, Jr., 48, of Narragansett died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. Born on December 22, 1967 in Meridan, CT, he was the son of Carol (Dunn) Ogilvie and the late Douglas W. Ogilvie. Dougie was a fisherman and loved the water. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.Besides his mother, he is survived by his loving son Christopher Douglas Morrison of West Warwick, RI, his two sisters, Christine D. Lill of Connecticut and Diane Urionabarrenechea of Coventry, RI, his two brothers Robert Dunn and Keith Ogilvie both of Newport, RI and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and great nephews. A remembrance service will be held on Saturday July 13, 2016 from 2-4pm in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RIBurial will be private.
