Jamestown, RI ? Dr. Nathan Feigelman, 92, of 143 Columbia Lane, Jamestown, RI, died Monday, September 10, 2007 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. He was the husband of Mary McCauley Feigelman. Born in Newport, RI on March 14, 1915, he was the son of the late Samuel and Rose Ettinger Feigelman.Dr. Feigelman was a Captain for three years in the United States Army. He was a 1934 graduate of Rogers High School. He attended U.R.I. and dental school at the University of Pennsylvania graduating in the top 10 of his class. In 1962 he married Mary, after knowing each other their whole lives. Dr. Feigelman worked in Newport as a dentist his whole career, retiring in 1986. He also worked in Real Estate Development, building the former A P shopping center on Bellevue Avenue and also helped in building 52 houses in Newport over his career. Dr. Feigelman was a member of the American Dental Association. Besides his wife of 45 years, he is survived by his son Keith Mayes and his wife Susan of Middletown, RI, his sister in-law Marguerite McCauley of Jamestown, RI, his grandson Keith J. Mayes, II and his granddaughter Kristie R. Borges, and his great granddaughter Bethany Borges.He was the brother of the late Harry Feigelman and Ida Rudolph.His services are private.
