Portsmouth, RI ? E. Marion Carver Mare, 92, of 178 Glen Road, Portsmouth, RI, formerly of Woonsocket, RI, died Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Joseph V. Mare and Joseph Lucien Bileau Sr.Born in Middleborough, MA on October 27, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Alton and Ina Barrows Carver.Marion, known to most as ?Bebe? was a member of St. Mary?s Episcopal Church in Portsmouth, RI and a volunteer in their Thrift shop. She loved dancing, dinning out lobster please, and playing games and cards ? especially when she wins.She lived a long and happy life surrounded by family and friends. Bebe was loved by all she touched. Her Great-Granddaughter, Hannah Deen says it best ? ?Bebe was always happy and funny to be around. I?ll miss her so much but I have great memories and that helps me ?.. with so much to look forward to.? We will all miss her generous heart, bright spirit and exuberant laughter. She leaves her children, Joseph Lucien Bileau, Jr., of Taunton, MA, Joseph Robert Bileau of Blackstone, MA, and Carol Zinno of Portsmouth, RI, her sisters, Wilma Smith of Slatersville, RI, and Barbara Helen Carver of Portsmouth, RI, her grandchildren, Debra Charette, Sandra Maclennan, Michael Bileau, Cindy Perreault, Mitchell Bileau, Norman Bileau, Hope Kent, Brian Bileau, David Zinno, and Susan Zinno-Slagle, and twenty three great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Ruth Vario and the grandmother of the late James Bileau and Ann Bileau. Her services are private.
