Portsmouth, RI - E. Mary Marshall, 83, of Mail Coach Road, Portsmouth, RI, died Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Newport Hospital.She was the wife of 58 years to Joseph F. Marshall. Born in Newport, RI on October 17, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Sabastiana Caccomo Marchese.She especially enjoyed her family and friends.In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Raymond and his wife Katherine Webb Marshall of Smithfield, RI, Joseph Marshall and his wife Josephine Thomason of Tucson, AZ, Barbara Abbot and her husband David of Ledyard, CT and Mary Marshall of Foxboro, MA, her brother John Marchese of Newport, RI; her grandchildren, Kristen Wilkerson and her husband Dwayne of Suffork, VA, Kerri Smith and her husband Jason of Smithfield, RI, Michaelangelo Marshall of Tucson, AZ and Reyna Marshall of Tucson, AZ; and her great-grandson, Jefferson Wilkerson of Suffork, VA. She was the sister of the late Rosario Harry Marchese, Vincenzo Jim Marchese, Joseph Marchese, Nancy Marchese and Rose Corridon. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at 8am from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am, in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown.Burial will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, from 4-7pm in the funeral home.
