Earl Jameson

Portsmouth, RI - Earl Huntington ?Jimmy? Jameson, 91, of Aquidneck Place, Portsmouth, RI, formerly of 87 Washington Street, Newport and King Road, Middletown, died Saturday, July 22, 2006 at Forest Farm Health Care Center, Middletown, RI. He was the husband of the late Mary Shaffell Jameson. Born in Henniker, NH, on April 28, 1915, he was the son of the late Sharon and Eva Huntington Jameson. Mr. Jameson served in the United States Navy, in World War II and moved to Middletown where he became a self employed home builder. He later became maintenance supervisor on Goat Island until his retirement in 1981. He was active in C.B. radio known as ?JJ? and HAM Radio Circles ?WWIFMB?. He is survived by his son in-law William Kesson of Newport, RI, his grandchildren Donald Kesson of Warwick, RI, William Kesson of Standish, ME, Mary Kesson of Providence, RI and Elizabeth Kesson of Fall River, MA, his great grandchildren Eric Kesson of Ohio, Matthew Kesson of Pawtucket, RI, Alex Kesson of Warwick, RI, Karlie Kesson of Standish, ME and Dale Kesson of Fall River, MA. He was the father of the late Shirley Kesson and the brother of the late Lyn Jameson and Ella Jameson. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2006, at 11:00am in the chapel at St. Columba Cemetery, Browns Lane, Middletown.
