Edith Albro Malone

Edith Albro Titcomb Malone, 76, of 8 Poplar St. Newport, for 63 years, died Friday, April 5, 2002 at Village House Newport, RI. Born in Newport, RI on January 1, 1926, she was the daughter of Alexander Titcomb and Esther Carlisle Titcomb. Mrs. Malone was an Office Cashier with J.T. O?Connell for 10 years, retiring in 1988. Previously she was a cashier and bookkeeper for W.T. Grant Co. for 34 years. Mrs. Malone was a member of the St. Paul?s Methodist Church in Newport. She is survived by a daughter Deborah Sieger of Lyndhurst, NJ, a brother Donald W. Titcomb of Newport, RI, and 2 grandchildren She was preceded in death by two sisters Margaret Titcomb Hoffman and Dorothy Grinnell. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, April 9, at 11:00 AM in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
