Edna Sherman

Middletown, - Edna R. Holt Sherman, 93, of 121 Maple Avenue Middletown, died Saturday, January 4, 2003 at Oak Hill Nursing Home Pawtucket, RI.She was the wife of the late Alton Parker Sherman Jr. Born in Newport, RI on August 11, 1909, she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Susan B. Clarke Holt.Mrs. Sherman was a member of Channing Memorial Church, Newport. She is survived by two sons David Sherman and Peter Sherman both of Middletown, RI, and a daughter Virgina Russo of Cumberland, RI, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.She was also sister of the late Frances T. Holt and Charolette Dutra Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2003 at 11:00 AM in the Hambly Funeral Home, ?Brick House?, 30 Red Cross Avenue, Newport.
