Newport, - Edward Joseph Andrews, 71, of 21 B Pearl Street Newport, died Monday, February 17, 2003 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. Born in Newport, RI on July 23, 1931, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary Suprenant Andrews.Mr. Andrews was a sexton at St. Anthonys Roman Catholic Church in Portsmouth, retiring in 1980. He is survived by his brother John Andrews of Algiers, LA, and his sister Norma Colby of San Jose, CA. Funeral Services and Burial were private. Arrangements are by the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
