Edward Joseph Reynolds

Edward Joseph Reynolds, 68, of Newport died peacefully, Monday, January 4, 2016 at home surrounded by family.Born in Newport on October 20, 1947, he was the son of the late Fred and Allene (Silvia) Reynolds.He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Army. He worked for Electric Boat and did work on the Newport Bridge and was also a local bartender. He enjoyed painting and spending time with his family and friends, always joking with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He is survived by his children, Andrea M. Winquist and her husband Michael J. Winquist of Barrington, RI, Edward K. Reynolds and his wife Yanika Reynolds of Middletown, his grandchildren, Cryan and Lylah, his step-daughter Shari Donnelly Correira and her husband Angelo Correira of Newport, his siblings, Frederick Reynolds of Gloucester, MA, Alfred Reynolds of Newport, Pamela Marshall of Middletown, his beloved cockatiel Taco and many nieces, nephews and cousins.He was the brother of the late Kenneth Reynolds Donald Reynolds and Gloria J. Mitchell and uncle to the late Kerri S. Marshall.Services will be private and donations can be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
