Efstathios H. Kyriakides

Efstathios Kyriakides, 86, husband of the late Parthena Konstontinides Kyriakides died January 4, 2010 in his home. Born November 15, 1923, he was son of the late Haralambos and Despina Alexandrides Kyriakides.Mr. Kyriakides was born in Russia, and moved to Greece in 1938. He later emigrated to the U.S. with his family in 1963 and owned and operated restaurants in Stamford, CT and Middletown, RI before his retirement.He is survived by his three children, Peter Kyriakides and his wife Vicky of Portsmouth, RI, Harry Kyriakides and his wife Anna also of Portsmouth, and his daughter Paula Kyriakides of Norwalk, CT. Additionally, he is survived by his six grandchildren, Patty, Katie, Steve, Genna, Tori and Stathi and by his great-granddaughter Melina.Friends may call TODAY, Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT and on Friday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Memorial Funeral Home 375 Broadway, Newport, RI. The funeral mass will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, 390 Thames St., Newport, RI. Burial will follow in Middletown Cemetery, Middletown, RI.
