Eileen Miriam Sarkissian

Portsmouth, - Eileen Miriam Keogh Sarkissian, 80, of 125 Quaker Hill Lane Portsmouth, RI, formerly of Woodstock Avenue, Stratford, CT, died Saturday, August 2, 2003 at Grand Islander Health Care Center Middletown, RI.She was the wife of Samuel Sarkissian. Born in Taunton, MA on January 12, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Helena Smith Keogh. Mrs. Sarkissian was a teacher for the Bridgeport Connecticut Grammar School System for 25 years, retiring in 1991. Besides her husband she is survived by her two sons Peter M. Sarkissian of West Hartford, CT and John E. Sarkissian of Cleveland Heights, OH, her daughter Rosemary Cook of Portsmouth, RI, two brothers Thomas Keogh and James Keogh both of Taunton, MA, her sister Rose Schlink of Cranston, RI, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.She was the sister of the late Edward Keogh. Funral services and burial will be private.Arrangements are by the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.
