Middletown, - Elbert Julian Passman, Jr., 47, of 14 Reardon Drive Middletown, died Thursday, May 15, 2003 at Mass General Hospital Boston, MA. Born in Corona, CA on December 11, 1955, he was the son of Elbert J. Passman Sr. and Mary Brindle Passman of Middletown, RI. Mr. Passman was a Window Washer with Unicco of Boston. Mr. Passman moved to the Newport area in 1956 and attended Rogers High School. He moved to the Boston area about 15 years ago. Sonny enjoyed working in his garden. Besides his parents he is survived by his brother Kenneth P. Passman of Mesa, AZ, two sisters Donna A. Passman of Middletown, RI, and Mary K. Coppola of Coventry, RI, one niece and one nephew. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at 8:00 AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 AM in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown.
