Eleanor C. Paduano

Eleanor C. Lalli Paduano, 89, of the John Clarke Retirement Center, Middletown, formerly of Lake Worth, FL and Gibbs Avenue, Newport, RI, died Saturday, May 29, 2004 at the Newport Hospital.She was the wife of the late John R. Paduano. Born in Newport, RI on September 26, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Maria Vietri Lalli. Mrs. Paduano moved from Newport to Lake Worth in 1986. Will living in Newport, she had been an avid Rogers High School Sports Booster, making food for the teams when they went on the road and chaperoned the yearly cheerleader trip. She was communicant of St. Lucy?s Church, and a former communicant of St. Joseph?s Church, Newport. She loved cooking for her family and all the grandchildren. She is survived by four sons John Paduano Jr. of Port Jefferson Station, NY, Anthony Paduano of Alexandria, VA, Michael Paduano of Camp Hill, PA, and Ralph Paduano of Olympia, WA, two brothers William Lalli and Joseph Lalli both of Newport, RI, her sister Maria OMalley of Middletown, RI, six grandchildren and three great grandchildrenShe was the sister of the late Francis Lalli, Michael Lalli Jr., Clementine Lalli and Rose Lalli. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 2 at 8:00am from the Hambly Funeral Home, 30 Red Cross Ave, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery in Middletown.
