Newport, - Elizabeth A. Ribeiro, 77, of 16 Burnside Avenue Newport, died Monday, February 10, 2003 at Heatherwood Nursing And Subacute Center Newport, RI. Born in Newport, RI on January 4, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Fortunato and Mary Rosa Ribeiro.Ms. Ribeiro worked for over 30 years at Del Neros Laundry in Newport. She is survived by her brother Theodore Ribeiro of East Providence, RI, and seven sisters Rose McCray, Helen Ribeiro, Catherine Butler, Dorothy Ribeiro and Mary Young all of Newport, RI, Marion Nunley of Oklahoma City, OK, and Alice Johnson of Springfield Gardens, NY.She was the sister of the late Silvestre J. Ribeiro and Rita Keating. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
