Middletown, - Elizabeth C. Thibodeau Joslyn, 63, of 16 Murphy Circle, Middletown, died Saturday, April 5, 2003, at the Newport Hospital Newport, RI. She was the wife of US Navy Chief Petty Officer Malcolm H. Joslyn, USN Ret. Born in Orono, Maine on June 3, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Alice Flanagan Thibodeau. Mrs. Joslyn was a member of the Portsmouth Evangelical Friends Church, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Bible Study group. She had also sang with a church choral group. Mrs. Joslyn had worked at the Navy Exchange and the Navy Federal Credit Union. She is survived by four sons Barry Joslyn of Newport, RI, Alan Joslyn of Salem, VA, Ty Joslyn of Bristol, RI, Jason Joslyn of Newport, RI, one daughter Justina Victorino of Wyoming, RI, three brothers Frederick Thibodeau Jr. of Bangor, ME, Thomas Thibodeau of Selden, NY, and John Thibodeau of Bangor, ME, 6 granddaughters, and 6 grandsons. She was preceded in death by an infant sister Beverly Ann Thibodeau. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2003 at 10:00 AM in Portsmouth Evangelical Friends Church, 11 Middle Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be private.
