Elizabeth Mary Archer

Elizabeth Mary (Fietz) Archer, 96, of Middletown, formerly of Portsmouth and Westwood, MA died Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Grand Islander Health Care Center of Middletown, RI. Mrs. Archer was born April 19, 1916 in Westwood, MA. She is the daughter of the late Adolph and Delia (Concannon) Fietz. She was the wife of the late John Archer, they had been married for 71 years.Mrs. Archer was a communicant of St. Lucys Church and was an avid reader.She is survived by her daughter: Joan and her husband Victor Hoogendoorn of Middletown, granddaughters Lynn and her husband Jeffrey Cornell and Robin and her husband Michael Anderson, as well as great grandchildren Alexander John Cornell and Paige Kelly Anderson.The funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 11:00am in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.
