Newport, RI - Elizabeth Mary Roque, Born June 14, 1992 Flag Day, Died Friday, July 7, 2006. Lizzie - A beautiful, gifted and adored child who loved all those who shared her life.Love is the only word to describe everything about Lizzie. She loved her dog Bear, she loved her cat Eli, she loved her fish. She loved her family and friends, ?love you,? shed say when she looked at you. ?Love you? shed say with a beautiful bright smile and her glowing eyes of innocence. Her love was infectious, she lit up a room with her love! Lizzie grabbed on to her life and took all she could from it. She loved the family trips up north for skiing and sledding down the big hill out back of grammy grampas house especially when mom took a run. Lizzie was just plain happy, full of life and ready for adventure, ?can I go - lets go.? She looked at people and living with a fresheness unique only to Lizzie. She saw light, she saw inside, she saw the good. Lizzie enjoyed. She enjoyed sailing with dad, beaching, movies and pizza with Caitlin, Sara John and ?me and mom? days. Lizzie, always cheerful, ever loved, ?Moms best friend!? She is survived by her father John A. Roque Jr.; her mother, Kathryn Ryan; her two sisters Caitlin R. and Sarah Bartlett; her brother John A. Roque III; all of Newport, RI, her grandparetns, David Ryan of Wickford, RI and Dr. Mrs. John Roque of Saunderstown, RI, aunts, uncles and cousins. Her funeral will be held on Monday, July 10, 2006, at 9:00.a.m from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00.a.m in St. Josephs Church, Broadway And Mann Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown, RI.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2006, from 5-7p.m. in the Memorial Funeral Home.
