Newport, RI - Elizabeth ?Betty? Esposito Rogers, 72, of 20 Ward Avenue, Newport, RI, died Monday, December 25, 2006 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Earl Thomas Rogers. Born in Newport, RI on December 3, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Genaro and Yolanda Luistro Esposito.Mrs. Rogers was a former member of the Newport Emblem Club and served as club president and state president. She is survived by her children Thomas E. Rogers of Hawaii, Susan M. Perry of Middletown, RI, and Leslie Kane of Newport, RI, her brother Anthony Esposito of Florida, her sister Elaine Viana of Texas, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her funeral will be held on Friday, December 29, 2006, at 11:00 am in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be private.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2006, from 4-8 in the Memorial Funeral Home.
