Elizabeth Viera

PORTSMOUTH, RI ? Elizabeth Perry Viera, 85, of 593 Middle Road, Portsmouth, RI, died Friday, June 24, 2005, at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Alfred F. Viera. Born in Middletown, RI on March 14, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Anna Moitoza Perry. Mr. Mrs. Viera were the caretakers of Sandy Point Beach in Portsmouth. Elizabeth was a communicant of St. Barnabas Church. She is survived by her brother Thomas Perry of Tiverton, RI, her sisters Gertrude Correira of Middletown, RI, and Marion Norbury of Newport, RI, her sister in law Theresa Viera of Portsmouth, RI, many nieces and nephews and many grand nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Ferreira, George Perry, Manuel Perry, Anna Gomes, Rose Calwak, Fannie Neely, Irene ONeil, Laura Derensis, Mary Perry and Dela Carr. Her funeral will be held on Monday, June 27, 2005, at 8:30 AM from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Portsmouth. Donations in Elizabeths memory may be made to the Charity of ones choice.
