Ellen Anne Sherman

Portsmouth, RI - Ellen Anne Sirois Sherman, 84, of 276 Indian Avenue, Portsmouth, RI, died Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Warren S. Sherman. Born in Pawtucket, RI on November 28, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Sifroid and Jessie Beauregard Sirois. She is survived by her daughters Linda Sherman of Middletown, RI, Carolyn Surles of Houston, TX, Joan Peabody of Middletown, RI, Louise Parish of Portsmouth, RI, and Sandy Lew of Winter Haven, FL, her brothers Charles Sirois of Seekonk, MA, and Richard Sirois and Louis Sirois both of Melbourne, FL, eight grandsons, three granddaughters and eight great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Francis Sirois. Her funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, Memorial Boulevard, Newport, RI 02840.
