Eloise Mae Driscoll

Eloise Mae Phillips Driscoll, 80, of Pleasant Street, Portsmouth, RI, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Newport Hospital.She was the wife of the late George A. Driscoll.Born in Newport, RI on May 9, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Delbert and Lillian Sisson Phillips.Mrs. Driscoll was a salesclerk for the Newport Preservation Society for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. Marys Episcopal Church in Portsmouth.She is survived by her three children, Robert G. Driscoll of Portsmouth, RI, Patricia M. Driscoll of East Providence, RI and Gerald D. Driscoll and his wife, Heidi, of South Kingstown, RI; her two brothers, Harold Phillips of Portsmouth, RI and Adelbert Phillips of Warwick, RI; three grandchildren, Kelly, Meagan and Cameron Driscoll; and a great-grandson, Damon Driscoll.Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 10 am from Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a burial service at 11 am in St. Marys Episcopal Church, 324 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will follow in St. Marys Churchyard.Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 4-8 pm in the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Marys Episcopal Church, Building Fund, 324 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
