Ernest W. Feld

Tiverton, RI - Ernest William Feld, 66, of Tiverton, RI, formerly of Pawtucket, RI, and Portsmouth, RI, died Sunday, April 15, 2007 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence, RI. He was the husband of Audrey C. Cooke Feld. Born in Pawtucket, RI, on April 26, 1940, he was the son of the late Ernest and Ruth Doyle Feld. Mr. Feld served in the United States Navy for 24 years. He worked at MWR on the Naval Base in Newport. Mr. Feld was a member of the Middletown VFW and the Newport Lodge of Elks. He was an avid fisherman and boater. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons John Feld of Middletown, RI, and Jason Feld of Tiverton, RI, a daughter Orla Feld of Tiverton, RI, a brother Robert Feld of Pawtucket, RI, and seven grandchildren. His funeral will be held on Friday, April 20, 2007, at 10:00 am in Holy Trinity Church, 1956 Main Road, Tiverton. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held Thursday, April 19, 2007, from 5-8 pm, in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.
