Bristol, RI - Ethel ?Marge? Marjorie Wilding Jerome, 82, of 1014 Hope Street, Bristol, formerly of 49 Pierce Avenue, Tiverton, RI, died Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center Providence, RI.She was the wife of the late Gilbert Jerome. Born in Providence, RI on March 8, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Emeline Pearson Wilding. Mrs. Jerome during World War II was a aircraft riveter in Long Beach, CA before moving to Rhode Island to work at the Torpedo station in Newport. She was a bowler in many leagues at the Duduck Bowling Lanes in Warren, RI. Mrs. Jerome was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Fall River, MA. She is survived by four sons Gary W. Jerome of Titusville, FL, Dana G. Jerome of Portsmouth, RI, Brian C. Jerome of Harrisville, RI, and Kevin S. Jerome of Westport, MA, two daughters Merrill Petty of Saunderstown, RI, and Catherine DeChiaro of Swansboro, NC, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.She was the sister of the late Ruth Wilding. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, September 3, 2004 at 12:00PM in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.
