Ethelyn Louise Tatreau

Lindy was born in Quincy, MA on November 21, 1948 and passed peacefully on October 29, 2013 after a courageous fight against brain cancer. Lindy loved ballroom dancing and family taco days with her sons and their families. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren building models and playing games (after they did their chores). She most recently resided in Newport, RI prior to her illness.Lindy was predeceased by her father, Pierce Tatreau, her mother, Patricia (Palmer) Tatreau and her brother, Frank. She leaves three sons and their families: Russell, his wife Patty, and their sons, Pierce and Andrew; Warren, his wife Michelle, and their children, Adam and Rachel; and Kevin, his wife Julie, and their daughters, Elizabeth and Caraline. She also leaves her youngest brother, Brad, his wife Lisa and their children, Ryan and Chelsea; her sister Charlotte, her husband Bill, and Charlotte's children, Huey and Naomi and their families; and Frank's daughter, Amy.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114, or the Ocular Immunology and Uveitis Foundation, 348 Glen Road, Weston, MA 02493.
