Evelyn A. Finney

Middletown, RI - Evelyn A. Finney, 86, of Bellevue Avenue, Newport, RI, formerly of Rogers Lane, Middletown, died Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Heatherwood Nursing and Subacute Center, Newport, RI. Born in Somerville, MA on July 19, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Francis W. and Evelyn Leonard Finney. Evelyn was an avid NY Mets fan. She became a personal friend of the Broadway star John Raitt, through her time in New York, attending musicals.She is survived by her cousins Peter Kehew of Portsmouth, Arthur Leonard of Cumberland, RI, and George Leonard of Hawaii, and a dear friend Mary Brownell of Middletown, RI.
