Portsmouth, RI - Evelyn C. Aguiar Chapman, 92, of 2368 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Charles Chapman. Born in Fall River, MA on April 27, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Roguel and Mary Viveiros Aguiar.She is survived by her son Al and his wife Roberta Conti of Portsmouth, RI, her daughter Ruth A and her husband Joseph Armstrong of Tavares, FL, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.She was the sister of the late George Aguiar, Bento Aguiar. Frank Aguiar, Manuel Aguiar, Anthony Aguiar, Jesse Aguiar, Joseph Aguiar, Mary Boiani. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, March 18th, 2010, at10:00am, in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Portsmouth.Calling hours will be held on Thursday morning, from 9-10, in the funeral home.
