Evelyn F. (Flores) Gill, 96, of Middletown died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Newport Hospital.She was the wife of the late Dennis A. GillBorn on December 15, 1919 in East Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Louis C. and Mary (Paiva) Flores. Mrs. Gill grew up in Warren, RI and moved to Middletown in 1971. She was a communicant of St. Lucy's Church.She is survived by her sons, Richard D. Gill of Las Vegas, NV and Dennis A. Gill Jr. and his wife Peggy of Portsmouth, RI, her grandsons, Matthew Gill and Ryan Gill, and her four great grandchildren.She was the mother of the late Donald P. Gill and the sister of the late Helen M. Sousa and Elsie F. Mann.Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016, from 9-11AM, in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, followed by her service at 11:00AM.Burial will follow in St. Columba Cemetery, Browns Lane, Middletown.
