Evelyn Margaret Flores

Evelyn Margaret Ritt Flores, 85, of 90 Peckham Avenue, Middletown, died Friday, May 3, 2002 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.She was the wife of Ernest Flores. Born in Newport, RI, on October 1, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Louis J. and Violet P. Rowe Ritt. Mrs. Flores had worked as the military pay supervisor with Naval Finance Office, Newport Naval Base Newport, RI, for 29 years, retiring in 1970. Besides her husband she is survived by a sister Pauline Ritt LaBrie of Punta Gorda, FL, a niece Ruth Wilcox of Portola Valley, CA, a nephew Ritt LaBrie of Lincoln, RI, a great nephew Nathaniel Wilcox of Portola Valley, CA, a great nephew Noah Wilcox of Portola Valley, CA, a great niece Korrie LaBrie of Lincoln, RI, and a great nephew Evan LaBrie of Lincoln, RI. Funeral services and burial were private. Arrangements were by the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
