Middletown, RI - Faithe A. King, 75, of 24 Briarwood Ave, Middletown, RI, died Friday, December 28, 2007 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late Malford King.Born in Bronx, NY on November 14, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Kathleen Maher Figuero.Faithe graduated from St. Xaviers Academy in Providence, RI. She married Malford King in 1953 and they settled in Newport. Here she was the owner and operator of Wilbys Fabric Store on Broadway for 20 years. As a local businesswoman, she was a member and past president of the Quota Club, a women?s business group. After retirement she continued to work for Broadway Florist and the Water?s Edge Flower Shop of Newport. She enthusiastically cooked and entertained for family and friends, was an avid sports fan and enjoyed caring for her beloved menagerie of pets.She is survived by her daughter Linda King Davey of Tiverton, RI , and a grandson Zachary King Davey of Tiverton, RI. She is also survived by a niece, Kathleen ONeal of Tampa, Florida and a nephew, Michael ONeal of Dade City, Florida.She is preceded in death by her sisters Dolores Grant and Eileen O?Neal Bissonnette.Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, January 2, at 2:00 pm in St. Marys Episcopal Church, 324 East Main Road, Portsmouth.
