Florence Dodd

Newport, RI - Florence Dodd, 71, of 87 Girard Avenue, Newport, RI, died Sunday, September 16, 2007 at home. She was the wife of the late Billey Dodd. Born in Providence, RI, on May 30, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Manuel A. and Mary Tavares Nunes. Mrs. Dodd worked for 30 years at Country Club Cleaners in Warren. She is survived by her sister Carol Ferrara of Warren, RI, her nephews Billey J. Dodd, II, of Portsmouth, RI, and Wayne Ferrara of Warren, RI, and her nieces Carol Martin of Portsmouth, RI and Lori Michaux of Bristol, RI. She was the sister of the late Kathryn E. Dodd. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2007, at 11:00 am in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held the morning of the service from 9-11 in the funeral home.
