Florence Emily Hammond Wrathall MIDDLETOWN, RI - Florence Emily Hammond Wrathall, 103, of 600 Valley Road, Apt. # 118, Middletown, RI, died Saturday, October 29, 2005, at the John Clarke Retirement Center, Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late William Wrathall. Born in North Attleboro, MA, on December 15, 1901, she was the daughter of the late John William and Annie Tillotson Hammond.She was a member of the Channing Memorial Church as well as the Edward King House Retirement Center. She is survived by five granddaughters, Nancy Wrathall of Middletown, RI, Melony Poirer of Little Compton, RI, Linda Wrathall of Portsmouth, RI, Susan Wrathall of New York, NY, Lori Key of Lebanon, NH, two grandsons, Steven Wrathall of Wilmington, VT, and Donald Wrathall of Coventry, RI, and 18 Great Grandchildren. Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by her two sons, Robert Wrathall and Donald Wrathall, her brother Edward Hammond, and her two sisters, Alice Hammond and Miriam Hammond.Her graveside service will be held Saturday, November 5, 2005, at 9:00AM, in St. Marys Churchyard, East Main Road, Portsmouth. Memorial donations may be made to Channing Memorial Church, 135 Pelham Street, Newport, RI 02840, or the Edward King House, 35 King Street, Newport, RI, 02840.
