Frances Barbara Leary Guadagni Middletown, RI - Frances Barbara Leary Guadagni, 79, of 969 West Main Road, Middletown, RI, formerly of 135 Gibbs Avenue, Newport, died Saturday, April 22, 2006, at the Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. She was the wife of Michael James Guadagni. Born in Newport, RI, on March 10, 1927, she was the daughter of the late David J. and Jessie Virdinlia Leary.Mrs. Guadagni was a Communicant of St. Josephs Church in Newport. She was an avid reader and loved building puzzels and spending time with her grandchildren. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons James Guadagni of East Greenwich, RI, Mark Guadagni of Tiverton, RI, and John Guadagni of Middletown, RI, a sister Mary Gass of Annville, PA, seven grandchildren Ian Guadagni, Lindsey Guadagni, Kayla Guadagni, John Pat Guadagni, Michael Guadagni, James Guadagni, and Hannah Guadagni, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Michael Guadagni Jr., and sister of the late John Leary and Dave Leary. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at 8:00 a.m. from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in St. Josephs Church, Broadway and Mann Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columbas Cemetery, Brown?s Lane, Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, from 4-7 p.m. in the Memorial Funeral Home.
