Frances Joan Baumann Connolly

Middletown, RI - Frances J. Baumann Connolly, 91, of Middletown, died on Sunday, May 24, 2009, at John Clarke Retirement Center. She was the wife of the late Cornelius Neil Connolly.Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Kathryn Cleary Baumann. Mrs. Connolly was educated in New York and upon her marriage, moved to Rhode Island. Until her retirement she worked alongside her husband in the family owned pharmacy in North Providence.She is survived by her daughter, Karen L. Ricci of Portsmouth and son-in-law Anthony, her granddaughters Kristin Fahey of Portsmouth and Mimi Henley of Virginia, three great grandsons, Tommy, Matthew, and Danny, three nieces, two great nieces and two great nephews. She was the sister of the late Ruth Baumann Brewster.Her funeral will be held on Friday, May 29, 2009, at 9:00am, from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth.
