Frances Dudzik McDonald, died at the age of 95 on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at St. Elizabeths Manor in Bristol, RI.She was the mother of Linda Harmon of Portsmouth, RI. She was the wife of Joseph McDonald and the mother of Sandra Miller, who both predeceased her. Born in Providence, RI, she was a daughter of the late Peter Dudzik and Mary Bryda Dudzik. She was the sister of Edward Dudzik of Bristol, RI and predeceased by her brother, Vincent Dudzik and her sister, Stacia Amaral. She was the grandmother of Christopher Harmon of Lincoln, RI, Courtney Paulding-Zelaya of Houston, TX and Carrie Paulding-Tamayo of Katy, TX. She was the great-grandmother of Danielle Harmon, Matthew Harmon and Wesley Tamayo. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.Fran worked at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center NUWC in Newport for 33 years, retiring in 1975. When she was younger, she enjoyed reading and crafts, and always enjoyed a good happy hour.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
