Francis Anthony Paiva

MIDDLETOWN, RI - Francis Anthony Paiva Jr., 62, of 26-A Unity Drive, Middletown, RI, died Wednesday, December 21, 2005at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. Born in Newport, Rhode Island on November 11, 1943, he was the son Aldina Mello Paiva and the late Francis A.Paiva. Mr. Paiva worked as a welder at Electric Boat in North Kingstown, RI retiring in 2000. He enjoyed deer hunting and was an avid fisherman. Mr. Paiva was a member of the Jehovahs Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Newport. Besides his mother he is survived by his son Shamus Paiva of Tiverton, RI, and granddaughter Jenna Paiva of Tiverton, RI, his brothers James Paiva of West Greenwich, RI, Robert Paiva of Woodstock, MD, and Thomas J. Paiva of Newport, RI. His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday December 24, 2005 at 10:00AM in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, Rhode Island.Memorial donations may be made to Rhode Island Food Bank, 200 Niantic Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island 02907.
