Francis E. Conners

MIDDLETOWN, RI - Francis ?Frank? E. Conners, 77 of 77 Rogers Lane, Middletown, RI, died Monday, November 14, 2005, at Newport Hospital. He was the husband of Jeannine St. Jean Conners. Born in Bangor, ME, on September 18, 1928, he was the son of the late Leo W. and Florence Dowling Conners. Mr. Conners was a Veteran of the US Navy. Mr. Conners had worked as a construction worker for 35 years for The Asbestos Workers Union #31, retiring in 1988. He was an accomplished artist and avid chess player. Mr. Conners was a Communicant of St. Lucys Church. Besides his wife he is survived by his children Michael F. Conners of Lincoln, RI, Robert A. Conners of Sugarland, TX, and Brian A. Conners of Pensacola, FL, and his grandchildren Christian Conners, Stefan Conners, and Ethan Maher. He is preceded in death by his daughter Joanne Alves-Conners. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mr. Mrs. Conners on Saturday, November 19, 2005, at 9AM, in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown.Burial will be private.Calling hours are omitted.
