Middletown, RI - Frank A. Botelho, 72, of 27 Murphy Circle, Middletown, RI, died Sunday, January 28, 2007 at home surrounded by his loving family after courageously battling ALS. He was the husband of Ann C. Kinsella Botelho. Born in Middletown, RI on January 26, 1935, he was the son of the late Manuel and Agnes Amaral Botelho.Frank graduated from Rogers High School in 1953 and shortly after began his career as parts department manager at Bove Chevrolet before working for several other dealerships until his retirement. During this time, he served in the Army National Guard. Frank was also a licensed Real Estate Agent for Colonial Agency and later for Glo-Ray Realty. During his retirement, he also worked at Aquidneck Liquors. Frank was a former member of the Middletown Knights of Columbus and the Newport County Board of Realtors. He was a communicant of St. Lucy?s Church. Frank was a lifelong baseball fan and enjoyed fishing. He also enjoyed painting with oils and water colors, and many of his paintings were showcased in local art galleries. Frank enjoyed the company of his many good friends, and most of all he loved spending time with his wife, his four children and being a loving Papa to his six grandchildren. Besides his wife of 42 years, he is survived by his children, Kathleen Allain and her husband Bruce of Warwick, RI, David Botelho and his wife Gayle of Essex Junction, VT, Brian Botelho and his wife Melissa of Newport, RI, and Keith Botelho and his wife Denise of Kennesaw, GA, his siblings Arthur Botelho of Middletown, RI, Alice Roderick of North Kingstown, RI, Manuel Botelho and Agnes Pinto both of Middletown, RI, Almorinda Demko of Bath, PA and George Botelho of Portsmouth, RI, and his grandchildren, Mary Kate Pearsall, Hannah Pearsall, Jacob Botelho, Ethan Botelho, Lucy Botelho, and Julia Botelho. He was the brother of the late Margaret Warner. His funeral will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2007, at 8:00 am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be in St. Columbas Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2007, from 4-8 in the Memorial Funeral Home.
