Frank C. Carr, 83, of Middletown died Sunday, March 6, 2016 at John Clarke Health Care Center of Middletown, RI. He was the husband of Carol Sherman Carr.Frank Carr was born on May 4, 1932 in Newport, RI, the son of the late Frank and Florence Carr. Mr. Carr was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island. He and his wife returned to the area in the late 1980s, living in Middletown.Besides his wife of 54 years, he is survived by his son David F. Carr, David's wife Elizabeth, and grandchildren, Marie Carr, Stephen Carr and Theresa Carr.The memorial service will take place June 18, 2016 at 11:00 in Calvary United Methodist Church 200 Turner Road, Middletown, RI.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, stjude.org.
