Newport, RI - Frank E. Tully, 85, of Heatherwood Health Care Center Newport, formerly of 128 Gerald Street, Holliston, MA, died Monday, February 7, 2005 at the center.He was the husband of Norma Barton Tully. Born in Brookline, MA on January 7, 1920, he was the son of the late Thomas and Susan Smith Tully. Mr. Tully served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a communicant of St. Mary Catholic Church in Holliston, MA. Mr. Tully was an avid football fan especially of the World Champion New England Patriots. Besides his wife of 40 years he is survived by three sisters Mary Erghott of Jacksonville, FL, Susan Kelly and Margaret Spirano both of Jamaica Plain, MA.He was the brother of the late Joseph Barton, Thomas Barton, Philip Barton, Elizabeth OConnor and Peggy DePaola.His funeral will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2005, at 9:00 AM from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Portsmouth Cemetery in Portsmouth.
