Frank G. Mcculley Sr

Frank G. McCulley Sr., 73, of Bristol, RI and Englewood, FL, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. Born on April 29, 1941 in Newport, he was the son of the late Frank G. McCulley and Ann (Teves) McCulley. He leaves his son Frank G. McCulley Jr. and his wife Holly, his daughters, Lori Stewart and Leslie Flynn and her husband John, his sister Beverly Dutra and her husband Thomas, his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.He was preceded in death by his sisters Lillian and Elizabeth McCulley and his daughter Lisa Silvia. He was formerly married to Lucy A. Ripa and Lucy Resende McCulley.He retired as a supervisor from Raytheon in Portsmouth in 2002. He was a Lance Corporal E-3 in the U.S. Marines Corps and served in Viet Nam and Bay of Pigs Invasion. He was a member of the Elks and Moose Club, Lodge 2188. He was also a member of the original Newport Babe Ruth baseball team, and attended Rogers High School in Newport.A Memorial service will be held on Thursday February 5, 2015 at 7pm in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway Newport, RI.Burial will be private.
