Frank L. Audino

Frank L. Audino, 50, of Fall River, MA, died unexpectedly on Friday, August 2, 2013 at Faulkner Hospital in Boston, MA.Frank was born on August 6, 1962 in Hanover, NH the son of Dr. Lawrence and Barbara (Groncki) Audino. He grew up in Portsmouth, RI and graduated from the Portsmouth Abbey School. He attended Colgate University and graduated from the University of Rhode Island.Frank enjoyed writing poetry and was published in several anthologies, won awards for more than a dozen poems, and was a member of the American Academy of Poets. He was a Red Sox and Patriot fan and enjoyed doing Jumbles. His kindness and loving ways will always be remembered by family and friends alike.In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Deborah Audino of Portsmouth, NH and Elizabeth Oswald and her husband Allan of Tolland, CT; nieces, Jaime Trout and Jessica Oswald; nephews, Michael Oswald and Andrew Trout; his Godmother, Carole McCarthy and his Godfather, Joseph Audino.Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 5-8 pm in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.His funeral will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 8:30 am from Memorial Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
