Middletown, RI - Frank Pasquale, Sr., 85, of 140 Peckham Lane, Middletown, RI, died Friday, June 5, 2009, at home.He was the husband of Agnes Silveira Pasquale.Born in Middletown, RI, on December 2, 1923, he was the son of the late Joseph S. and Mary Freitas Pasquale.Mr. Pasquale was a carpenter for the federal government for 30 years, before working for the Middletown Library for the next 24 years. He recently retired in January of this year. He was a WWII Veteran having served in the United States Army. Frank was a communicant of Jesus Savior Church in Newport. He was a member of the VFW, FOP, and was a former Assistant Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 82 in Portsmouth, receiving the award for Scouter of the Year in 1974. Frank was known as Beep Beep to many in town and will forever be remembered as a jack of all trades to those who knew him. He loved playing cards, gardening, bocce, riding his motorcycle, working and helping other people.Besides his wife of 60 years, he is survived by his two sons, Frank Pasquale, Jr., and his wife Joann, of Middletown, RI, and Joseph Pasquale of Middletown, RI, two grandsons Frank Pasquale, III of Warren, RI, and Michael Joseph Antonio Pasquale of Saunderstown, RI, a great granddaughter, Nora Lilly Cunha Pasquale of Warren, RI, his brother, George Pasquale of Middletown, RI, two sisters Alice Simas of Newport, RI, and Josephine Magnuski of Pawtucket, RI, and numerous nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph Pasquale, James Pasquale, Benjamin Pasquale, Matthew Pasquale, and Manuel Pasquale, and by his sisters, Mary Pasquale, Rose Silvia, Alexandria Silvia, and Irene Del Ross.His funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 10, at 8:00am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway and Vernon Avenue, Newport.
