Fall River - Frank Robert Edge, 39, of Fall River passed away October 18, 2013, peacefully at home with his family by his side. He was a loving husband and father. He was the husband of Wendy L. Edge (Robitaille) of Fall River.Born in Newport, RI, he was the son of Kathleen I. Haight (Schmidt) and Robert E. Edge.He is survived by two sons, Cory and Michael Tremblay of Fall River, MA, a sister, Kasey M. Edge of Fall River, a grandfather, several aunts and uncles, several cousins, and nieces and nephews.A graduate of Middletown High School, he most recently worked in manufacturing at Paramount Tool in Fall River, MA. He became an inspiration to people all over the world as "#FranksFight". He shared his story about his fight with testicular cancer until the very end.Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2013, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI, followed by a celebration of his life at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
