Frank Soares

Warren, RI - Frank Soares, 100, of 642 Metacom Avenue Warren, formerly of Quaker Manor, Portsmouth, Rhode Island, died Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at Desilets Nursing Home Warren, RI.He was the husband of the late Maria Iva Delphin Soares. Born in Somerset, MA on March 22, 1902, he was the son of the late Manuel and Amelia Estrella Soares.Mr. Soares worked for Raytheon as an Electronics Repairman retiring in 1968. He was a communicant at St. Anthonys Church. He is survived by his son Robert Soares of Portsmouth, RI, his sister Emma Lima of Portsmouth, RI, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. His funeral will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2003, at 9:00 AM from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Pocassett Hill Cemetery in Tiverton.
