Gaetano Guy Joseph Migliori of Pleasant Hill, California died peacefully on January 20, 2012. He was the husband of the late Mary Santa Migliori.Born in Lynn, Massachusetts on August 4, 1916, he was the son of the late Corrandino and Rosalina DiCecchio Migilori.He was a US Coast Guard veteran and during WWII served with the U.S. Atlantic Fleet, 1943-44, and was the recipient of the Air Medal for meritorious achievement. After retirement from the service, he moved to California working for ITT Corp. as an electronic field engineer at the port of San Francisco. He was an avid amateur radio Ham operator and communicated with other Ham operators all over the world. His call letters were W1ONZ.He is survived by two daughters, Mary Lou FitzGerald of Middletown, RI and Elizabeth Migliori of Sonora, Ca; five sons, James Migliori of Fall River, Ma., Richard Migliori of Newport, RI, John Migliori of Pleasant Hill, Ca., Joseph Migliori of Westport, MA and Thomas of Hawaii, and 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 4 great-great children. He is also survived by a brother Oscar Migliori of Danvers, MA.Funeral services will be private.
