Gary Wayne Williams West Greenwich, RI - Gary Wayne Williams, 65, of 24 Blueberry Heights, West Greenwich, RI, formerly of Santa Monica, CA, died Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Woodpecker Hill Health Center, Greene, RI.He was the husband of Barbara Louise Allan Williams. Born in Napa, CA on January 1, 1944, he was the son of the late Kenneth C. and Rita Tallent Williams.Gary was a machinist for 25 years with Alpha Engineering in Santa Monica, CA. After working at Alpha Eng. he started his own home repair service and was self employed for 15 years, retiring in 2004. He enjoyed an. outdoor life of fishing, hunting, and camping with his family. He is survived by his wife Barbara Louise Williams of West Greenwich, RI , and a son Gary Allan Williams also of West Greenwich, RI, a daughter Lisa Williams Finneran and her husband Lee of Western Coventry, RI, and a daughter Jennifer Rita Fontaine and her husband Simon of Raf Mildenhall, England, three grandchildren Caitlin T. Finneran, Connor C. Fontaine, and Riley J. Fontaine. He also leaves his brother Eugene K. Williams of Mountain Grove, MO, and two nephews Michael J. Williams of Mountain Grove, MO, and Christopher K. Williams of Santa Barbara, CA, and his beloved dog Laura. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, at 11:00 am at Emmanuel Church, 42 Dearborn Street, Newport.
