Geoffrey B. Lennon

Middletown, RI - Geoffrey B. Lennon, 48, of 687 Green End Avenue, Middletown, RI, died Friday, July 20, 2007 peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was the devoted husband of Deborah J.Minkle Lennon and father of Patrick N. Lennon and Rebecca A. Lennon. Born in Haverhill, MA on Aug. 29, 1958, he was the son of the late Dr. Robert and Alice Bamford Lennon.He also leaves his brothers Robert L. Lennon and sister in law Colleen Lennon of Methuen, MA and John C. Lennon of New Hampshire, a sister Mary Anne Lennon and her partner Christopher Newell of Lexington, MA, his mother in law Clare Minkle of Salem, NH as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.Geoff was the owner of MMR Associates of Newport. He also owned Harbor Supply of Newport. He was a graduate of Andover High School and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His memberships included the Newport Yacht Club and the AOH of Newport. His funeral will be held on, Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 10:00am from the Memorial Funeral Home 375 Broadway Newport with Funeral Liturgy Outside of Mass at 11:00am in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown.Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Portsmouth.Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4-7pm in the funeral home.
