George H. Parlow

Portsmouth, George H. Parlow, 84, passed away November 27, 2013 after a long struggle with emphysema and congestive heart failure. He was the loving husband of 62 years to Jean (Nagle) Parlow. He was the beloved father of Christopher Parlow, Richard Parlow and his wife Debbie, Susan Noruk and her husband Jeff and Elizabeth Zachary and her husband Lee. He was the proud and doting "Pop-Pop" to Lexi, Andrew, Justin, Brandon, Alyssa and Nikolas, McKenna.George was the brother of William Parlow and Jean Tsairas and was also the brother of the late Ann Foster.George will be dearly missed by his many friends and extended family. He served his country for over 30 years in active duty for both, the Air Force and Navy, as well as the Coast Guard Auxiliary.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, December 2, 2013 at 10am in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.Calling hours are respectfully omitted and his burial will be private.Memorials can be sent to the Honor Flight Network (www.honorflight.org) Service DEC 2. 10:00 AM St. Barnabas Catholic Church 1697 East Main Road Portsmouth, RI, US
