Georgette Heywood

Portsmouth,- Georgette Blais Heywood, 82, of 468 Water Street Portsmouth, died Saturday, July 5, 2003 at Charlton Memorial Hospital Fall River, MA. She was the wife of the late Milton J. Heywood. Born in Fall River, MA on March 26, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Omar and Eva Michaud Blais. Mrs. Heywood was a member of Saint Anthonys Church, Portsmouth, the Portsmouth Senior Citizens Center and the Garden Club. She enjoyed Nobleboro, Maine where she spent most of her summers. She is survived by three sons Henry R. Heywood of East Bridgewater, MA, Milton J. Heywood Jr. of Scottsboro, AL and Kenneth N. Heywood of Portsmouth, RI, three daughters Catherine Martin of Old Orchard Beach, ME, Patricia C. Grosser of Essex Junction, VT and Barbara L. Prillaman of Dracut, MA, her sister Lauretta Miller of Fall River, MA, sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at 9:00 AM from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, route 114 Portsmouth, to be followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River.
